The “Half-Blind” Date

I’ve been in dating mode the last month. Well, maybe thinking about dating a little more than actually taking part, but dating nevertheless.

My matchmaker friend offered to set me up with her husband’s co-worker. Here’s the catch: He saw a picture of me but I was left with nothing of him! Just a name and brief rundown. This is what I now refer to as the “half-blind date” – something I’ve never tried before.

It was a little unnerving to walk into a bar having no clue what to expect…but yet they knew exactly what I looked like. But, alas, I found him. Sparks unfortunately did not fly, but that happens. It was an interesting venture, and surely worth a go for anyone looking for a way to change-up their dating scene. Next time, I think I’ll try the typical blind date!
